On July 16, 2025, the World Olymp’Arts Council (WOAC) held its 30th-anniversary celebration of the its Olympic Arts Founding Charter in Paris. Two drone performances served as the centerpiece, weaving a spectacle of technology and art across the Parisian night sky.

First Performance: An Invitation to OLYMP'ARTS 2027

The first performance traced WOAC's 30-year journey. As night fell, 2,000 drones ignited, coalescing into the OLYMP’ARTS six-star logo. As the stars rotated, a golden Chinese Dragon emerged. The flying Apsaras from Dunhuang, China , arrived amidst a spectrum of colored mist.

The appearance of "OLYMP’ARTS 2027”, symbols from each continent including a European cello with silver arcs, an Australian kangaroo, an American bird soared trailing blue flames, and an African tribal mask glowed with orange-red eyes. Countless points of light wove a ring of resonance in the sky. Finally, all lights converged, reforming the six stars superimposed over "OLYMP’ARTS 2027," heralding the vision of a shared cultural celebration for the inaugural 2027 Modern OLYMP’ARTS Competition .

Second Performance: A Cross-Border Dialogue Between Brands and Art

The second performance, themed "Let Brands Illuminate the World," featured POP MART's Labubu taking the stage first, complementing Parisian romance. Logos of HUAWEI, BYD, BOSIDENG, Chopard, and BUTTONS flashed sequentially, engaging the Eiffel Tower in an East-West dialogue. The "WORLD LIBERTY" and "SkySwarm" logos conveyed ideals of freedom and technology empowering art, showcasing drones' potential for creative expression and brand presentation.

Crafted by Shanghai SkySquadron Innovation Cultural Tourism Technology Group, this performance used a 16.77 million-color light matrix to transform brands into bridges for artistic and civilizational dialogue.

Breaking Barriers: From "Ground Canvas" to "Low-Altitude Theater”

Traditional art is confined by physical space, but low-altitude technology shatters this limitation. In the Paris performance, 2,000 drones acted as "aerial pixels," creating a dynamic art matrix – an African totem morphing to drumbeats, an olive branch interacting with the light of a violin. This "entity-less medium" liberates art from fixed formats.

It is noteworthy that  "Dynamic sculptures" of drones in the urban night sky transforming in response to audience reactions; or using AR, audiences immersing themselves in dialogue with historical paintings or mythical scenes. This "low-altitude theater" concept shifts art from passive viewing to active participation, enabling creators to build public co-creation platforms.

Symbiotic Convergence: Resonance Between Low-Altitude Economy and Cultural Creativity

The brilliance of drone art stems from the resonant convergence of technology and art. The gala's "Brand Aesthetics Low-Altitude Performance" redefined the relationship between commerce and art – brands became organic components of the artwork, not just sponsors.

More profoundly, it activates the "low-altitude economy": as drones evolve from logistics tools to artistic mediums, and low-altitude flight transitions from transport to experiential scenarios, cultural creativity infuses emotional value into the low-altitude economy. Initiatives like the "Global 100+ Sky Art Gallery" plan aim to make each city's low-altitude space a unique IP – drones narrating the Statue of Liberty's epic in New York, recreating pyramid construction over Cairo's skyline. "Urban Landmark + Low-Altitude Art"...

Value Reconstruction: From "Self-Admiration" to "Global Resonance"

The vision of the "Olymp’Arts Manifesto" — "advancing global artistic integration" — finds vivid expression in low-altitude art. During the Paris performance, the Chinese dragon danced alongside the American eagle, shattering the "region-specific labels" of traditional art. Drones, as a borderless "artistic language," enabled audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds to intuitively grasp the power of African totems, the romance of European classical music, and the ecological philosophy of Oceania. Within the interplay of light and shadow, a "translation-free" resonance was achieved.

This resonance reflects a shift in the logic of artistic creation: from "individual expression" to "collective narrative." When the Olymp’Arts Grail emblem crystallized in the night sky, the applause at the gala affirmed that beauty is no longer the self-admiration of a privileged few, but a global consensus forged by technology.

Looking back at the Parisian nightscape, drones and immersive experiences are reconstructing not only artistic forms but also the paradigm of beauty itself. Transcending physical boundaries and cultural barriers, technology now serves humanity’s pursuit of "beauty and unity." The fusion of low-altitude technology and art "connects the world through beauty." This connection extends beyond culture, catalyzing new forms of transnational artistic collaboration and low-altitude experiential economies, deeply integrating beauty into global supply chains. As "sky galleries" emerge in more cities, the low-altitude realm will become a new economic frontier — a shared stage where human civilization dances with innovation.
